I have always loved candles. The magic of wax and wick. I love the way they look, the way they smell, the way they change the mood of a room so effortlessly. I have tried just about every candle on the market, more as I got older, realized that a simple candle really is something in life that brings me joy, and had money for such indulgences as "good candles." Once I started burning "good candles" I noticed how they were actually less expensive in the long run than the "icky candles." So I started my quest for the BEST "good candle."

About a year ago a friend introduced me to Gold Canyon candles. It was love at first smell. This is one of those things you can't get retail, only through a demonstrator or online. The first thing I noticed was that the party format was so laid back! All you do is smell candles. That's all it takes. The scents are absolutely intoxicating, invigorating, relaxing....pretty much wherever you want to be, they take you there.

Fast forward a year when its time to replenish my personal candle stash. Yes, a year. I bought a lot! But I also burn a lot, and these candles just last such a long long time. I have ordered many a product from other candle companies, and they literally sit in a drawer for years, waiting for a "special occasion." Not so with the Gold Canyon. I trade out scents frequently, and burn my econosize 26 oz jar candles every day. One of my favorite things is when I come home from work to find my husband has a candle going. Considering that he has not bought one home decor item in our entire relationship, it's quite notable that he uses the candles even when i'm not home!

Back to the topic at hand.....I decided that I love these candles enough to be a demonstrator for Gold Canyon. This decision did not come lightly! If you know me you know im a total overthinker. Now is not a time when most people are thinking of expanding their ambiance. More like, paying the rent. But reality is this.....First, we cannot forgo ALL indulgences. Women especially have a natural need to be nurtured, and these days sometimes we have to create that for ourselves. Life is hard right now. We have to take care of ourselves. Our noses tell us as much as our eyes, that we are home, that we are safe, that we can relax.

A second reality......these are excellent, bargain products. Gold Canyon products are being featured in Rachel Ray magazine, Extreme Makeover Home Edition TV how, Empowering Women magazine. Every person I know who has tried them loves them. And cost comparison, you could buy 3 other jar candles and not get as much out of them as you get out of 1 Gold Canyon candle. So why not spread the joy?
